Recent studies have shown that the preferences for learning has changed for CPAs in recent years as newer CPAs are opting for an online learning environment. With the often chaotic schedules that are inherent with the profession, online is simply more convenient. These surveys show there is a growing need for change in the educational requirements of CPAs.

Pressure based learning
Working under pressure is a necessity in financial fields, especially during tax season. Learning under pressure does not provide the same quality results as learning at one’s own pace. Timed tests can do more harm than good when trying to retain information. By making test more performance based, focusing on the needed skills rather than the general information, tests and learning software can help to focus on areas of weakness instead of data cramming.
