Jonathan Block is a human capital executive and business leader with 20 years of experience spanning the Big 4 and accounting profession. He specializes in leadership development, organizational transformation, and strategic communications.
Most recently, Jonathan launched and led PwC’s premier client-facing leadership development academy, the Trust Leadership Institute, engaging over 14,000 business leaders across the Fortune 500. He also led Transformation and Communications for PwC’s Tax line of service.
Prior to PwC, he served as Head of Transformation and Chief of Staff to the Global CHRO at Reinsurance Group of America, where he played a key role in guiding the executive team through five acquisitions, 20 business-unit reorganizations, and CEO succession.
Jonathan began his consulting career in Accenture’s Human Capital and Organizational Effectiveness practice, where he developed expertise in talent strategy and organizational change.
An eternal optimist, his career started in American politics, serving as Assistant Press Secretary to First Lady Laura Bush in the early 2000s. There, he helped her become the first American First Lady to write a blog and post a video to YouTube.
Outside of work, Jonathan is an active outdoorsman, a dedicated husband, and a proud (and sometimes exhausted) father of three. You can often find him running Spartan races or spending time with his family in the great outdoors.
